How may "Rhythm Based Communication" (RBC) create enjoyment?
RBC is encoded in "Rhythm Based Time" (RBT) which is always now time. It appears that all organisms in our biosphere, excepting our own species, lack the conscious thought processes to invent detailed labels ("timetags") for future manoeuvres. Such labels, whether mental, inscribed or machine made seem not a part of Nature other than for Homo sapiens. They have led to our "apparent dominance," but also to our relative loss of quality now time. But, the newly developed understanding of RBC and its use within much of Nature can radically reduce the high stresses at home, school, university, work and on vacation. For example, "lock" into RBC with an animal or plant and you are forced to think like that animal or plant AND THAT THINKING IS NECESSARILY IN THE PRESENT. You are experiencing now time. Additionally you are recharging the "mental batteries" that will later create the desired labels to organize your future manoeuvres, especially the ingenious ones that will enhance your creativity and potential success at reaching goals. The critical recipe is to endeavor to experience periods of 100% now time in all phases of life, most commonly on vacations, and then to switch to 100% concentration on the activity of futuristic thinking, that is, inventing labels ("timetags) and following their resulting plans. The latter is human creativity, competition and a paradigm of human progress. The former can be productive, enjoyable recreation. Now time vacations can be short (for example photographing a pet) or substantially longer (as in an adventure holiday). The point is to go from one mind set to the other and not to linger, suspended between the two. RBC creates enjoyment by drawing one into the present and then creating pleasurable feelings from: a) solutions of now time unexpected conundrums and b) acts of altruism. The former generally utilizes elementary solutions but because of the lowered biological stress inherent in this communication form, "lateral thinking" can more easily prevail. In other words, attempt to solve problems in unusual, ingenious, ingenuous ways. The latter, altruism, is a frequent characteristic of RBC and of its creation of enjoyment. It is, by its very nature, impossible to expect a reward, in the future, for the deeds that you do if you consistently encode all of your information into now time (see also postscript #112) (1) Beamish, Peter, Dancing With Whales (Creative Book Publishers, St. John's, NF.
